Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Focus Music School's services, including tuition at our Academy, in-school programmes, artist management and development services, and our website at focus-music.co.uk.

By enrolling with Focus Music School or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

Focus Music School is operated by Focus Music Ltd, registered in England and Wales.

To enrol with Focus Music Academy, you must complete our registration process. By registering, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete.

• Students under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian complete the enrolment on their behalf.
• Focus Music School reserves the right to refuse enrolment at its sole discretion.
• You are responsible for notifying us of any changes to your contact or payment information.

Lesson fees are payable monthly in advance. By providing your payment details, you authorise Focus Music School to charge the agreed fees on the due date each month.

• Fees are reviewed annually and may be adjusted with at least 30 days' written notice.
• Failed or late payments may result in lessons being suspended until payment is received.
• A late payment fee may be applied to overdue invoices.
• All fees are quoted inclusive of VAT where applicable.

We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice for cancellation or rescheduling of lessons. Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed without notice, will be charged in full.

• Where Focus Music cancels a lesson, we will offer a replacement lesson or credit.
• We endeavour to minimise cancellations, but reserve the right to reschedule lessons where necessary.
• Public holidays may affect lesson schedules; we will notify you in advance.

We expect all students and parents/guardians to treat our staff, tutors, and other students with respect. Focus Music School reserves the right to terminate lessons with immediate effect in the event of:

• Abusive, threatening, or violent behaviour towards staff, tutors, or other students.
• Damage to Focus Music School property or the premises where lessons are held.
• Persistent non-payment of fees.
• Conduct that is deemed detrimental to the learning environment.

In the event of termination under this clause, no refund will be issued for prepaid lessons.

Focus Music School takes its safeguarding responsibilities extremely seriously. All staff and tutors working with children and young people are subject to enhanced DBS checks.

• We follow best practice guidelines in line with current safeguarding legislation.
• Any safeguarding concerns will be reported to the appropriate authorities.
• Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring students attend lessons punctually and are collected on time.

All content on the Focus Music School website, including text, images, logos, and course materials, is the intellectual property of Focus Music School and may not be reproduced or distributed without prior written consent.

Focus Music School will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by students or parents as a result of circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Natural disasters, pandemics, or government-imposed restrictions.
• Third-party actions outside our control.
• Technical failures of third-party platforms or services.

Our total liability to you in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Focus Music School reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by email. Continued use of our services after changes have been posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
