With 29 years experience in classical guitar, from the heart of Portugal in Lisbon, Oswaldo is our senior management and senior guitar teacher at focus music.

As a performer he co-founded the Grupo Tempo, a world music guitar trio who mixed local rhythms with foreign references using native languages. That resulted in two albums recorded in Sweden and France and regular appearances at international concerts and festivals.

Oswaldo has been teaching guitar at Focus Music since January 2024, both small groups and one to one tuition, at the Forest Centre in Collier Row and at Ray Lodge and Farnham Green primary schools.

Being above all a classical guitarist and composer his teaching covers different styles of music, from classical, Pop, rock, popular, blues, jazz and world music. The use of the voice as a natural musical instrument is also contemplated in his lessons. He also tends to encourage the formation of bands where the young musicians can discover themselves as both soloists and members of a band.

His goal is to make Focus Music a synonym for excellency and uniqueness in the industry of music education, providing high quality service and help our customers to achieve their potential.
