Please reach us at admin@focus-music.co.uk if you cannot find an answer to your question.
The lessons are taught by peripatetic tutors provided by Focus Music Agency Ltd. All tutors have an enhanced DBS and public liability insurance.
As most tutors require a minimum of 2 hours teaching time at a school per week, we sometimes have to cancel tuition of a particular instrument if there is not enough interest. Should this be the case, your fees will be refunded. Please contact us regarding information for music tuition on instruments not listed.
Lessons will be rescheduled and made up at a later date due should your child be ill on the day of their lesson. If they will be away on a trip, we ask that you email us at admin@focus-music.co.uk as well as the tutor at least a week before the trip. Should your child fail to attend a lesson due to forgetfulness or internal/external exclusion, they will not be able to make up that lesson.
Unfortunately, once lessons have commenced, there are no refunds. Please have a discussion with your child about the commitment and discipline expected for learning an instrument. You can cancel your renewal if you no longer wish for your child to attend our lessons and will have full access to our tuition up to your cancellation period.
It is necessary for your child to be able to practice at home. drummers are required to bring their own sticks to lessons. Practice pads (not to be confused with electric drum pads!) are suggested for home use as they are a more economical and quieter option than a whole kit. Pianists need to have at minimum a keyboard at home. It is preferable that guitarists bring their own guitars to lessons.
We are in the process of setting up our online review system, until then please go to our social media pages or use the feedback form below.
